STEVE-O Posted July 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2017 We'll be sailing out of Quebec in Oct. We're having a tough time finding private tour vendors who can accommodate wheelchairs. Most ports have tour vendors on the pier...is this true of the common ports on the Can/NE sailings?
SailBadtheSinner Posted July 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2017 I would say no for Bar Harbor, ME and Newport, RI both being tender ports. Both tender dock areas abut public streets with limited room that overflows with excursion buses. SBtS
maryann ns Posted July 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2017 There may be some in Halifax but the best will be pre-booked. If you can find me on the Nova Scotia forum for Trip Advisor (same name and avatar) click on my user name to send me a Private Message and give me your email address. I will send you my notes on taxis and tours which I have gathered over the years.
