TealK Posted July 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2017 I have made reservations twice now for the steakhouse on Liberty sailing Sept 3rd and haven't heard back from Carnival. I called today and spoke with someone who says you are suppose to pay for the dinner when you make the reservations. I explained to the woman at Carnival that there was no option to do that. She then stated you need to wait until Carnival emails you the link to pay. I am making the reservations for my husband and myself along with another couple we are cruising with. I wasn't planning on paying for their dinner since it's my birthday we are celebrating. Anyone else have any idea how this works? When do we actually pay? I emailed Eventplanning@carnival.com and they emailed back right away saying that they couldn't help me verify my reservation that I have to wait for the steakhouse to email me. I made my reservations back in January when I booked the cruise. I went ahead and put in another reservation request just in case. I would think 7 months is enough time to hear back from them or get a confirmation sent to me. I will wait to hear from my newest reservation request. With Dream and Conquest, I had heard back and was confirmed within two days of making the reservation (I just double checked my old emails). Both confirmations came from carnival addresses.
