We just got off a fabulous 4 Day Conguest Cruise to Half-Moon Cay and Nassau Aug 3-7. Will write a review later, but ask your questions. Sorry, no pics, but ship was nice.

We had:

FTTF - Definitely Worth It

Cheers - Definitely Worth It

Balcony - Yep Worth It.

Early Dining

Shows were great

Piano Bar was great.

CD Peter from Ireland was fantastic.

We did the Ultimate Island Snorkel and Beach Safari. Great excursion. They met us right off of the ship, total of 14 people (max is 16). Walked us to the boat just outside the Nassau Port Buildings. Took us out about 25 minutes. Snorkeled at one location with sea turtles for about 30 minutes, then over to a different reef teeming with fish of all kinds for 30 minutes, then to a small island beach for 30 minutes. The operators were great and very engaging.

Will be boarding Conquest this Saturday (woohoo!). How was embarkation? What time did you arrive to the port? And what time were you allowed to board? More importantly, how was debarkation? I've read a lot of reviews recently that say Port Everglades debarkation isn't the speediest.

That sounds fun! Thanks for the response.

Blarko,

We had FTTF. Arrived at the Port at 10:30. Went through Priority check-in and sitting in waiting area at 10:45. Got called to board just after 11:00. Was on the ship by 11:10, got my first drink (Cheers in advance), got to my room at 11:15 which was ready (FTTF benefit), and my luggage was already there (early luggage delivery - FTTF). Couldn't have been smoother. Those without FTTF were boarding by 11:30.

Debarkation was smooth. They started self-assist at 6:30. We had zone 2 (FTTF), and was scheduled to report to the dining room at 8:00. However, they called for zones 1, and 2 at 7:40. We headed on down, retrieved our luggage, and proceeded through customs. There was a line, but it moved fairly quickly. They had 5 Customs agents waiting. We were in our Taxi by 8:15 headed to the airport.

Yes, they did indeed have music trivia in the lobby. Very popular, and all seemed to have a great time. The Piano Bar was also awesome. They also did Karaoke in the back lounge. Lots of room, good selection.

well everybody talks about $$ spent, we spend what we sort of want, but do not go hog wild on pictures maybe one, we eat at the galley. most of the time it good. trinkets are nice especially if for the youngsters at home. BUT BUT remember a for new folks a lot of stuff is cheaper the day before you return, usual t-shirts are about 1/2 price as is a lot more. at sea the jewelry is a good price some by the inch. IF

you buy jewelry in nassau be careful you may have taxes upon arrival if you got a lot. any liquor you buy will be returned to you stateroom the night before we dock at home, no you cannot drink it on the ship.

well enough of my rant. we enjoy it all my wife give me $10, fo the slots (NOT) enjoy all. yes we are on SUNSHINE out of norfolk 20 oct 2017

OH yes this is out 12 carnival cruise
