Do they require people to go through metal detector scanners prior to boarding? At the airport they always tell my DH to remove his belt, resulting in embarrassment for our teens as he tries to keep his pants from falling down. Lol.... If so Elastic waist shorts may be the way to go.

Yes, you have to go thru a scanner when you enter the terminal! I'd go for the elastic band for sure!!! LOL

You don't have to "undress" to go thru port security. No worries! If he sets off a bell, they will wand him...belt and all!
