Packing a box

Is it approved to have a box packed for Carnival? We are actually combining our Port Excursion with a Mission trip and taking a box of children's bibles and toys. Would rather not have another suitcase to haul back. Thanks!

You need to coordinate with the ship to determine whatever is needed to comply with the port's customs clearance requirement.

I wasn't aware of this until I read it on his F B page but you can now coordinate mission donations through John Heald... at one time they frowned on it, but now they will help to ensure that you're not bringing in anything that you shouldn't and that the local officials will let you actually take it off the ship. So email John Heald.

 

As for the box? I see no reason why it would be a problem! I could pack my undies, jammies and bathing suits in one and check it, if I really wanted to!
