Allure of the seas main dining room

Just came back from the Allure. We were assigned Silk, but I personally preferred the Grande. The giant, red hi-back chairs in Silk are just plain silly, and they take up a huge amount of space. Also, while I love red, it's overkill in Silk....makes the place look like a French brothel.

Definitely Grande. In Will call tomorrow found it outrageous that there were TV monitors right over our tables hawking hawking Park Gallery. We don't watch TV during dinner at home and we certainly did not want to be bombarded with advertisements on our cruise. We immediately went to the dining room manager and were moved to Grande.

What dining room(s) had the TV monitors?

Sorry...Silk had the TV monitors. This was last May. Perhaps they have made changes since we were on Allure.

I wanted to edit my post but couldn't find the "edit" button!

Just curious. I had this same question about the oasis. Are the dining rooms the exact same as far as decor, layout, etc. on the oasis compared to the allure?

Yes, after the most recent dry docks, the dining rooms are the same.
