lynnber Posted October 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2017 Is there a way of visiting Le Village for the Haitian Cultural Tour without doing the whole Paradise Cove excursion? There's no way I can convince my husband to do anything that involves a beach...
shorti503 Posted November 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2017 I'm assuming it's the same this (hopefully I'm not wrong since it was 5 years ago) but there was a path that led to the village were they sold all their merchandise at. It was an easy walk from the pier. It was definitely overwhelming in there though be prepared to say no and walk away and make you sure Take small bills if you do want to purchase because no one seemed to have change.
RMH Posted December 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Yes you can walk there (or take the tram) and yes they are aggressive. The vendors in the Market have a set price and there is no negociating, but not in the Village. No need to take an excursion to visit any of the places on Labadee itself.
