Question re: On Board Booking for future Cruises

Beyond the O Life (unrefundable) OBC, Oceania does provide some unrefundable OBC to partner TAs for incentivizing customers (e.g., first time O customers or coverage of gratuities et al.). But, then TAs can also share commissions as additional refundable OBC or a post cruise refund check. How much that may be varies from near $0 to as much as 5-10% of the commissionable fare. Not "unheard of."

My TA does better than that. Our rebate is roughly 12% which is far better than getting a few hundred dollars OBC.

I started this thread, because I have never booked a future Cruise while aboard. I got very valueable information from all of you, seems like I have been missing out on many Perks, Comments about TA,s have also been interesting. Guess everyone has their Favorites in this Category. I do agree it is best to check a few out as they all seem to have different incentives. Thanks again all of you for your very valuable input
