A day in San Jose...

This November we'll be arriving by ship in Puerto Caldera, then traveling to San Jose for an overnight stay before our flight home the next day. Any suggetstions for accomodations in San jose, and touring suggestions, would be much appreciated. thanks!

So, has no one been to San Jose with positive things to say---??? we're looking forward to our short but focused visit. Thanks for any ideas!

We stayed at the Melia Confort Corobici hotel in San Jose ([url]http://www.costarica-net-guide.com/corobici.html[/url]) a couple of years ago, we really enjoyed it. Its location was in a safe area of the city and it was a central point for our tours.

We thought that the Gold Museum, which has pre-Columbian gold, was the highlight of our short stays in San Jose.
