Flying in FLL cruising Port of Miami - Need Hotel with Transportation.

Does anyone know of a good, inexpensive hotel either in FLL or Miami that would provide inexpensive or free transportation to and from FLL and the Port of Miami?

 

We have 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant. We will be bringing 3 car seats since they are all 5 and under.

 

My first thought was Uber and AirBnB but adding up all the trips may not save me as much.

It is a 45+ minute drive from FLL to POM. No FLL area hotel will offer "free" transport to POM - they will just build the cost of transport into the package rate. :mad:

 

Check http://www.sunny.org for lots of FLL area tourist/hotel info and then book your own transport. Several shared shuttle companies will get you between FLL and POM for about $15 per person (you should qualify for a family/group discount) - check with SAS, QLS, MJS and Go Airport. The same shuttles can get you back to FLL after your cruise.

 

You'd need UberXL or a mini-van taxi for private transport -- both will run about $70+ each way.

 

You might check the family cruise board for suggestions from other families in the same situation. Have a great cruise! :cool:

We always use Jiffy Jeff Transportation.

 

Always have great experience with this company. They drop at Hotels in Miami and Port of Miami.

 

Highly recommend.
