St Kitts at carnival time

Anybody been to St Kitts during carnival. We will be there on 1/2/06 and are looking for a good spot to watch the final parade. Any ideas?

Ballahoo Restaurant is a good spot, but by the time the Carnival Parade gets there it may a bit late. Greenlands Park is one of the best spots to view the parade from. It's close to where the parade starts from so, all the paraders will be fresh in the sense that they will have just started to parade. When the parade gets down town later in the afternoon some of the paraders may be tired. Plus revellers may have joined in along the way.
