tgilmour Posted December 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2017 Can anyone tell me about cabin 8710? I saw a thread about a Frosted door instead of a sliding glass door and small balcony. I don't know this ship. Should I change this stateroom? Sailing 05Feb18
Rare Chrissit Posted December 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2017 We've stayed in 9404 and 7804 (or their equivalents on the Voyager Class). I don't think we'd book 9404 again, but wouldn't hesitate to book any of the corners on deck 7 or deck 8. The balconies for these cabins are much larger than similar ones around the ship. Someone saying that it was a small balcony may have meant in comparison to some of the others on the aft of the ship. If it were me, I'd stay put due to the size of the balcony and we truly love aft cabins. Take a look here for some pictures. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/stateroom-details.php?ship=Liberty-of-the-Seas&cabin=8710

tgilmour Posted December 20, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted December 20, 2017 Thank you ATC Cruiser and Chrissit, very helpful information and pictures. I'll stay put. I think I will also do a video and put it on cruisedeckplans to help future cruisers decide.
tgilmour Posted February 11, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Just got off the INDY Feb 10 and stayed in cabin 8710. Loved it and glad I did not change. Made a video of the stateroom and posted it here. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/member/deckbydeck.php?ship=Independence-of-the-Seas&deck=
