How to get to Eden Rock from cruise terminal?

My wife and I enjoy snorkeling and have read that the Eden Rock/Devil's Grotto area is a good choice. Apparently it is about a 1 mile walk from the terminal. Do buses run in that direction? Is a taxi a better choice?

Honestly, neither is needed. Exit the gates from the port, turn right and round the curve and you will arrive at Eden Rock. I took this pic from the reef at Eden Rock, this is how close you are. The second one is from the patio at Eden Rock.

easy to find the main tender landing AND Eden Rock Dive Shop ....

EDEN is 'big boy pants' snorkeling ..... expect the water to be 30+ foot deep ... nothing to stand on.

 

It is good, but not for beginners .......

 

and being so close to the tender landing it can get crowded .. first place folks find .. and boat tours stop here as well ......

 

(yep, you may pay for a boat tour and find yourself at someplace others walked to ..... )
