While we are seasoned cruisers, we have never cruised on Carnival. Considering an August cruise on Triumph our of New Orleans. Looking for any feedback on the ship, itinerary and things to do in New Orleans. Thanks in advance. Shelly

We Camped in the New Orleans area this past Spring and Loved the City (soooo much to do and History) Take the Natchez River Boat tour before your Carnival Trip. We found our favorite Carnival Ship "DREAM" goes out of there. (the Dream has the "COVE" Balcony which is on the second deck right on the water where you can see Flying fish and the sea turtles, fish close up) Soooo we "BOOKED IT" we leave next week. Will post from our trip. NOTE: Find parking and use the transit system as parking is very expensive in downtown. Our Hotel is across the river and we will take the ferry over $2 each way pp. and then use the Bus/Trolley system to sight see before we leave. ENJOY . . . .
