Anyone cruised this ship in this location recently? Would like information on the pacific side of the Mexican Riviera, as well as information on the Mercury. How is service, etc., etc. on the ship. We have never been on a cruise. We are possibly looking at cruising in October. Thank you for any information you can share.

We are on Mercury October 13th. We also took the same cruise last year at the same time. Absolutely loved it. Nothing like cruising under the GG Bridge. Any questions - bluesongbird3@aol.com

We will be on this Cruise on 10-3, we did it on Royal Carribean in 2000 and loved it Celeberty is owned by Royal and is known for its white glove service. Make sure when booking to ask to be seated at a large table for dinner it is a grat way to meet new friends.

We've been on 10 cruises on 4 different cruise lines. Celebrity is our favorite line. My family, including 2 teens loves their awesome service and fabulous food. I'd go on any of their ships in a heartbeat. We didn't go on them this summer because they didn't have an itinerary we were interested in.

We did the Mexican Riviera last week on Royal Caribbean's Legend of the Seas. It was our 2nd time doing that route. Except for California people that can drive to the port, I think most first time cruisers start out with a Caribbean itinerary. (We're in Illinois so we have to fly to cruise.) It depends on what you're looking for. The Caribbean is hotter and has warmer and clearer water for snorkeling and going in the ocean. Last week we had a couple chilly days at sea. The reviews from the people that went on it during June said the same thing.
