Bringing back Liquor on a plane?

Cruise Critic friends... I normally drive to my cruises but this years cruise we have decided to fly. I like to bring back several bottles of liquor. What’s the rule regarding Liquor and planes? Is there a limit? Anyone have any tips for getting it home not broken?

Bubble wrap. If it’s over 3oz, it has to be in checked luggage. (We’ve done it. It works.)

Pack in bubble wrap and put in checked luggage. Can't carry on.

We wrapped ours in a travel blanket inside a checked suitcase.

Gallon size ziplock bags

When we flew back from St. Maarten last year, we had 6 or 8 bottles. We bubble wrapped them and then wrapped them in our dirty clothes. Haven't had one break yet1
