Allure or Harmony of the Seas??

We are trying to pick a cruise. This will be the first cruise for our 5 year old. The wife and I also haven't been on one of the mega ships and we were looking at these two sailing the second weekend of April. We were leaning toward a southern caribbean cruise on the Adventure of the Seas, but thought a cruise with more cruise days would be better for our daughter.

 

For those of you that have been on these two, which would you suggest over the other? Also are there certain decks you would recommend over others for cabins? We will be getting a balcony.

The only thing is she probably isn't tall enough for all the slides, only 41"....although I would like them:D

If you don't care about slides, then either ship would probably be fine. We like decks 8 and 9 for oceanview balconies.
