Drink package and specialty dining on Liberty of Seas

I have read posts about RCI running specials on 3 night dining packages and alcohol/drink packages. Is this true ? Currently 3 night dining packages are offered at $75 pp and drink packages are approx. $50pp per day. The note on the website says "this includes your discount". Should I just go ahead and book or wait for a better deal?

they will not discount while you are on the ship . so yea i ordered online for the liberty 4/1. at best around day 3 or 4 they will offer 10 drinks for a certain amount most of the time i have seen 75$ mentioned

We were on Liberty 1/28-2/4/18. We got the 7 night Specialty dining package in advance and was 168.00 per person, ours included gratuity. We had it 7 nights plus 3 lunches on the sea days with the package. We loved it.

If you are ok with that price, go ahead and book. You can always cancel and rebook at a lower price if the price drops. I think for our cruise it dropped to about $46 a day for deluxe $18 for refreshment (what we picked). It was a holiday cruise, so no specialty dining deals ever really showed up. That was ok with us. The dining room was perfect every night and was wonderful for breakfast and lunch.
