js on grandeur

Will be in a JS on the Grandeur in Jan and was wondering what the perks would be? Can we board earlier and if so, what time? Only sailed on Carnival, so really looking forward to this.

If you get a JS on any RCCL ship you get prioity embarkation, and 2 crown and anchor points... thats about it.

 

If you get the next level suite up you get concierge service and the conceirge lounge ( free booze and priority waitlist for excursions ect).

Grandeur doesn't have a Concierge Lounge, so it's a moot point here. I believe that in lieu of concierge, the GS and above suites get little goodies delivered to the suites, but I don't know exactly what.

Voyager DOES have a lounge - the OP asked about Grandeur.

I know... I was just saying that the only reason I was trying to upgrade on the Voyager was the lounge... if I was on granduer I would not bother to upgrade..

How was the Junior Suite on the Grandeur? I recently had friends who sailed on this ship. I was also wondering myself about booking one in the future - is it that much larger than the balconies? I imagine the bath alone would be worth it. I hate those tiny showers!

We just left the Grandeur yesterday and loved our JS - my husband is 6' 6" tall and had no problems with the size of the bathroom and shower.
