Sapphire Mexico Pirate shore Excursion ?

Hi all, My hubby and I are taking the Mexico cruise 1/28/06 and have booked a snorkel trip. My question is , the tour Historic Pirate Ship, Snorkel Tour , in Cabo. The tour says there is a platform allows easy access to the water. Does any know if it is a diving platform or are there stairs into the water. I have a bad knee and a chushed elbow, I will be unable to pull myself up a platform. I can do the stairs into the water. Has anyone taken this tour? You input would be helpful. The one I was on had a cloth strap mesh net. I don't know if you'll be able to get yourself out of the water.

Maybe you can ask this question on the Ports of Call board under Mexican riviera. You may find the answer there.
