Ships Horns

I'm booked on Royal Princess and would also enjoy hearing the "Love Boat" theme on sailaway. Where were you located on the ship when you heard this? On a veranda? On an upper open deck?

Also beware some ports do not allow the ship to play the horn. You may have to hit a few ports before you here it. Leaving Toulon in 2013, they played the horn around 5 times for the city council on another boat following the Royal out of port. The port now has a law that prohibits the horn.

That's encouraging news. My stateroom is on Deck 9. I'd prefer to be there on my veranda with a glass of a good wine when we sail from Port Everglades.
