castle701 Posted December 29, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2005 We were on the Mariner's eastern Caribbean a few years ago and the nightly itinerary was: Sunday - Casual (Caribbean Fare) Monday - Bahamas / Casual (THE QUEST) Tuesday - At Sea / Formal (Ice Show) Wednes - St. Thomas / Smart Casual (love & Marriage show) Thursday - St. Maarten / Casual Friday - At Sea / Formal Saturday - At Sea / Casual It appears that reading some of the newer reviews, that this has changed, can anyone definitely verify for me? Many thanks!
mcca2 Posted December 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2005 We sailed on Mariner at the end of October. I can definately tell you that Monday is formal night. Tuesday is a sea day. Can't remember which shows are on, but Monday and Friday are formal nights. There is a posting on these boards of the cruise compass, from one of my fellow cruisers. You might want to do a search, to answer your questions.
firstcruise05 Posted December 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2005 I was also on the Eastern Mariner route in October and our Formal nights were Monday and Friday. However, in a recent post someone mentioned that they sailed in November and their formal nights were Tuesday and Friday. So, maybe they changed it again. Perhaps it has to do with Nassau being replaced with Coco Cay? In October we went to Nassau but I think that the other poster was one of the first sailings to substitute the private island.
