Fanning Island

My mom will be on the Norweigan Wind in March. She is looking to tour Fanning Island-Hawaii. Anybody have any suggestions I can pass on to her? I have gotton alot of great info when I went on my crusie on the Carnival Legend so I know there is someone out there that can help. Thanks.:D

It is straight out of National Geographic. Take a walking tour around the island. Meet the locals and the children.

If you haven't already, do a search for "Fanning" on the Hawaii Ports of Call message board. Fanning Island has been discussed many times.

 

We went last year -- it was much better on the private beach. Very relaxing, shade or sun, quieter, and not that much hassle to get back and forth to the main island since the shuttles ran all day.
