San Jaun on your own Excursion

Has anyone done this? Interested and want to understand about the transfer to the airport. Would love to not have to lug bags around because our flight isn't until 5pm.

 

Thoughts?

we did this last Jan. you get on a bus that takes you to old San Juan where you are dropped off and given a time to meet up----your luggage is held and eventually brought to the airport where it is waiting for you when the bus drops you off at the airport---you pick up your bags and proceed into the airport---worked very well

We will be in San Juan in December, but have been there many times. I had booked a tour with RCCl, and they cancelled, but then it reappeared, so I booked it again.

 

That being said, I have walked around Old San Juan, and if RCCL cancels again, I will use this site to plan a tour.
