Hey all,

We are flying in to FLL for our Sept 29 Conquest cruise the day of. Our flight lands at 10:32 am and the cruise leaves at 4. Cutting it a bit close (I know) but I did see mentions regarding the baggage claim being slow. I am mostly just trying to figure out if we will be ok to keep this flight or if we should try to make it down there sooner?

If your flight lands on time you will have no problem. The port is no more than a 20 minute cab ride. Taxi are plentiful. Personally I always fly in at least a day early. Don't like to stress if flight is delayed or weather causes a problem.

When people say 'baggage is slow', they mean slower that other airports and it might take an hour from the time you walk off the plain to the time you walk out the door with your suitcase. At 10:30am, that should not be a deal breaker. However, if your plane is delayed 4 hours, due to mechanical issues, etc. Think about a plan B.
