Question about Dining at Portofinos or Chops

Recommended Posts

we dined at Portifino's on the Voyager...and it was superb! My DH has requested we make 2 reservations to Portifino's on our upcoming cruise, definitely will eat there once and will the 2nd time if we don't like our table mates (ha ha). We were with our friends on the Voyager cruise and we could not eat dessert, because we were so full...our waiter came out with 2 covered trays and said to take back to our cabin for later...he had given each couple EVERY dessert on the Portifino's menu...it was AWESOME! He was the best...and we loved them later that night when we got in from a late night at the casino! I highly recommend paying the $20 per couple to do this...so very worth it!

Even if you don't have reservations on a particular night, be sure to stop by and ask if there are tables available. On the Jewel we tried several times to make reservations at Portofino's and were told it was full every night. Finally the concierge got us a table (after we had already been told nothing was available) and the restaurant was more than half empty the whole time we were there.
