Whisper embarking in Venice

We are embarking on a fully chartered cruise on the Whisper from Venice on August 12th. For those who have sailed out of Venice does the Whisper typically dock at San Basilio? We will be coming in on the 12th from Rome by train and although pricey have decided to take a water taxi from the train station to San Basilio. If anyone had doe this would truly appreciate hearing about your experience.

The September 6 Whisper cruise embarks at San Basilio, so it seems likely that yours will as well.
