Fascination entertainment charges?

I have a question. A co-worker's daughter and son-in-law just returned from a three night cruise to the Bahamas. I think they were on the Fascination. They told my friend that they couldn't do a lot of activities on board because there were charges for them. They said you had to pay to go to the shows. I always thought (and my experience has been) that the shows were included in the ticket price. I'm figuring that my friend mis-understood what they told her, but maybe things have changed. I haven't read about this on the boards so I figure she got it wrong. She is hoping to cruise to Alaska in a couple years so I want to verify things for her. Your help is appreciated.

Most activities are free of charge. The only things you might have to pay for are a couple of fitness classes hosted by the Spa team. These are optional classes of course, but the price should be listed alongside the advertized class in the Capers. There is a charge to play bingo, to enter Casino events such as blackjack & poker tournaments and if there is a wine tasting done onboard, that will probably have a small nominal fee as well. All day time shows, main lounge evening shows and midnight shows are free of charge.......enjoy.

Your friend just misunderstood. All shows are included in the cruise fare.
