Casinos: No more points for poker?

i was on the Breakaway last week.

the dealer said there's no points for playing poker.

and after swiping my card, i didnt receive any points.

 

this true for all ships that have a player card reader for poker? (Breakaway, Breakaway+ classes?)

It has been that way since we started cruising in 2011.

It's that way in all casinos, whether on land or sea.

 

You get he most points for slots, then table games. Poker is the least points, if any.

no. i remember receiving 50points per hr (or 25pts per hr?) playing poker on Breakaway back in 2016.

 

i verified this when i put in my card into a slot machine the next day and saw my points increased.
