southern&sincere Posted December 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2018 For the first day on the boat is it a casual wear dinner or does it still adhere to Carnival standards? For some reason I thought you could wear casual clothes to dinner that first day?

Usually the first night, anything goes, unless you are doing steakhouse. We have been on ships where people do not have their luggage yet, and are going to dinner. The next day, our first Sea Day, is elegant.

I was thinking that’s how it was, but wasn’t really sure.
