Booking next cruise while on a cruise.

I was just thinking about doing this.  I usually buy the cruisenext credits but since I have four, I need to just book the cruise.

One other topic said you book the lowest category and get the highest category, which would be pretty nice, but not amazing.  Getting a balcony would only possibly get an Aft balcony, doubt it would jump to Spa Balcony.  And the price difference between balcony and aft is usually only $200 or so.  So it is nice, don't get me wrong, but could probably get that savings by watching the prices.

Is there anything else that I would get?  Or is the big draw just buying the cruisenext certs?

Any one do this lately?

Thanks so much,

Michael
