Western Carribbean - Temp on Ship?

Hello-

 

We are going on our first cruise in April so I have alot of stupid questions.

 

Today's is: What is the temperature on the ship in April on a Western Carribbean Cruise? We will be on the Star from April 23-April 30. Is it breezy on the decks? Should I pack light sweaters and pants?

I always pack a sweater and lightweight pants, not so much for wearing outdoors as in. I find that sometimes I get chilly inside the ship. The temperature outside will probably be pretty warm to hot. Decks are breezy if the ship is moving fast or if it's just a windy day.

Have not been on a cruise yet where the interior temperature was not at somewhere around the "Meatlocker" setting. They only turn it up on formal nights so us guys can sweat through our dark suits.

I usually find I need to bring a light sweater to dinner. Much depends on whether you are seated under one of the ac vents. Looking forward to meeting you two in April.
