Question on age to do activities

On RC kids under a certain age (I think 13?) had to have parents come with them to do activities such as Rock climbing, Zip line, etc.  Which was annoying as my 14 and 12 year old wanted to go off and do things alone and we had to follow them around.  Just wondering on Carnival if a 12 year old can do ropes course, water slides etc without an adult?  Thanks!

As long as they meet the height requirements they will have no problem going on their own. They let my son who had just turned 7 two months before our Horizon cruises go on the ropes course on his own because he was tall enough. We didn't know that he did it until he told us and we went up and watched him do it the second time.
