Docking at 6:00 pm at Kings Wharf

We are arriving at 6:00 pm on April 30 and departing at 6:00 pm May 1.  What I have researched so far is a ferry to Hamilton leaves at 6 and the next at 7:15.  We won’t be able to make the 6:00 obviously.  So is it worth going over for 1 1/2 hour, as the last ferry leaves at  at 9:00?  Not sure stores will be open.  What to do?

The next day I have considered renting a Twizy.  We definitely want to see St. George.  Don’t care about spending time at a beach.  Thought about a tour and have seen some of the recommendations on here.  I like flexibility.  We will be just the two of us, so blue taxi might be too expensive.

I seem to be stumped with this Port.

There's no sense in going to Hamilton unless you want to eat dinner at a local restaurant. Stores will be closed by the time you would get there.

You could just walk around the Royal Naval Dockyard on Tuesday night. A few shops may be open although the official closing time is 6 pm some stores in the Dockyard do stay open later when ships are in port. If you wanted to have a drink or dinner you could go to one of the restaurants located in the Dockyard. The Frog and Onion is a popular pub with its own craft beer brewery.

If your main objective for Wednesday is to see St. George, then I'd skip renting a Twizy. Just take the Orange route ferry from Dockyard to St. George in the morning. You'll get to St. George faster and for a lot less money than if you had to first rent a Twizy and then drive from Hamilton to St. George.
