On past cruises I've really liked the eastern Caribbean over the western. Unfortunately, we are running out of new places to visit. Although I never get tired of St. Maarten, I would like to explore some other fun destinations. where is your favorite port of call to visit and why?

If you're able to swing a slightly longer cruise, or fly to San Juan to sail, try a southern Caribbean cruise. The ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao) are a treat.

Also, if you haven't been to St. Kitts, it is a beautiful island to visit for the history and culture (not so much for the beaches if you're looking to swim/snorkel). Brimstone Fortress is the major highlight, and there are also Romney Manor and the Batik factory, as well as several gorgeous outlooks from the cliffs overlooking the ocean. St. Kitts isn't quite as commercial as some of the other more often visited ports.
