September Canada Cruise - Weather/Clothing?

We will be sailing from Brooklyn on September 1st, and I'm guessing the weather will be HOT.  However, we will then be heading north (Bar Harbor, Corner Brook, Sept. Iles) on a cruise to Quebec City.  Will the weather cool down quite a bit and will we be needing warm clothing?  Thanks!

I'd take a pullover, light jacket or cardigan, and a rain jacket to layer. We're Floridians so anything below 75f is chilly. We were fine with our regular summer clothes and then layered tops when necessary. Our windbreakers were perfect on deck when the ship was moving.

Thanks, Tonopah.  We're in Santa Barbara, California, so anything 75 IS quite chilly for us.  Guess I should leave the heavy wool sweaters and long johns at home, then.
