Deck plan question Nieuw Amsterdam - Main deck 1

Good evening:   A question for those of you familiar with this ship.  There is a gray area down from where the Atrium is shown.  I am guessing, since this is a bottom level deck, that this might be some mechanical area.  It is also where more ocean view cabins show up as available!  If this is true, what is the noise factor for the cabins in this part of the ship?  Thanks in advance

I read some of them and saw these comments:

cabin 1083 - "constant hum"

cabin 1092 - "noisy activity never totally stopped"

cabin 1097 - "a bit noisy"
