Alcoves on Silhouette

Booked these four times on our cruise and it’s such a shame

Previously on cruises this was a private area and roped off to reflect the price paid to enjoy such a lovely area..the ropes are no longer there and it’s a really busy place meaning  the area is a free for all and just not worth it to have the grass directly In Front and to the side of each alcove occupied ...not private at all ...and towards the end of the day even the actual alcoves area were utilised by anybody that saw the empty space.

We were looked after really well until about 4,then not so much,and despite advertising WiFi in this area it’s not available it’s apparantly a descriptive error on the booking site which the staff are aware of and obviously can’t correct so its a common complaint they have to deal with

We have decided to cancel the next three as honestly despite having loved these alcoves on previous sailings it’s really not worth the extra spend and just enjoy other areas that don’t incur a charge

i should add we have WiFi for 3 out of 6 of our party but had promised our youngest the WiFi for some of the day based on the description which definitely needs rethinking on Celebrity’s descriptions

Thank you for your comment above. We used the alcoves on reflection and very much enjoyed the fact that the area was free of people in front of us. I didn’t realise they have now changed this.
