Chikita Posted January 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2006 This week, a representative from NCL told me that there is no refridgerator in Cabin # 9557. :( They were in installed or put in to the ships that were constructed after the Spirit. Has anyone been in that cabin to verify this. Also, please describe the stay in the cabin? I'm sailing on 2/9 w/ mom. Thanks:)

You can go to http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/ships.htm. Scroll down until you find the Norwegian Spirit - then select Deck 9 - then click on your cabin number when the deck plan appears. There are several representative cabins, but not your particular one pictured - you can see exactly what to expect. We stayed on Deck 10, inside, and were very comfortable. Plenty of storage, and a wonderful shower. Good luck, and happy cruising.

singitalto Posted January 29, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2006 My friend is sailing with us on the Spirit in April. She needs a fridge for meds. Will they provide one?
Hikini Posted January 29, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2006 We sailed on the Spirit this past September. There are no refrigerators in the cabins, but they did keep the ice buckets fresh and full every day. I would imagine that the staff will do what they can to accomodate anyone who needs their meds refrigerated. It won't be as convenient as having a fridge in your own cabin, but I'm sure this isn't an uncommon request for the staff. We loved the Spirit, as I'm sure you will too! Have fun! Chikita Posted January 29, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted January 29, 2006 My friend is sailing with us on the Spirit in April. She needs a fridge for meds. Will they provide one? I was told that medication, in our case, insulin, was to be stored in their clinic refrigerator. Hope that helps.;)
