River Cruise Cabins - are the walls metal?

We bring magnetic hooks and clasps on ocean cruises to help us organize stuff and dry clothes. Are the walls of river cruise ships magnetic too?  AMA Waterways specifically? I kinda assume that they are - it's a ship after all - but I know that some of you experienced river cruisers have the answer..

I can say that Scenic cabins are NOT, at least not in the sun lounge where I planned to use my magnetic hook.  They may be under the wall coverings but you would need a strong magnet to hold through the layers and perform as expected.
