Century 2/27/06 liquor limit

:rolleyes: We were wondering what the liquor limit on this cruise will be. We only have 4 ports on a 10 day cruise (we love lots of days at sea). We are familiar with the generous limit from St. Thomas. Our stops are Jamaica, Costa Rica, PC & Aruba. This is our third time on the Century and the second time staying in the same room. Thanks:)

I pressume you mean duty free for you to take home not to drink while you are there..using U.S. customs regs it is per trip not number of days on the trip. This is what was written in the "Celebrity Today" port notes from the cruise I just returned from yesterday to the Caribbean. Here is the direct quote, " for each adult over 21,one liter of liquor per person except when purchased in St. Thomas where the allowance is 5 liters of liquor (one of which must be made in St. Thomas)."

Even if you purchase more than the duty free limit, the fee that is charged for going over is very low, only a few dollars and several times we have had the custom folks just wave us through when we told them we had a few extra bottles.
