Hotel at the BCN Airport

Can anyone recommend a hotel near the Barcelona airport, preferably with a hotel shuttle from the airport? We are arriving in the evening the night before our cruise and decided we’d just try to find something nearby and take a taxi to the ship the next day. 

 

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa at the airport last month.  It was very reasonably priced, is clean, has an airport shuttle and a decent restaurant.

Thanks,  for the info....I checked into it, but they have no availability for a family of 4.

Can try this one http://www.barcelonairporthotel.com/en but large room or suite is usually poor value compared to 2 separate rooms. The one above has suites

Seems a shame to miss out on seeing any of Barcelona. 

Stay in town.  Instead of going directly from the hotel to the ship, you could sightsee for a few hours; just wander around until noon/1pm.      We're staying at the Hotel Lleo near Placa Catalunya .... 5E from the airport on the Aerobus, and only 2 blocks from Las Ramblas.

Most hotels near BCN are not exactly close, 3 miles or more from the terminal. City center is reasonably close in 25-30 min by taxi. Taxis run 24/7. Renfe runs till 11:30pm, metro little bit longer.

I actually booked in town although we are coming in at night, got a great rate for a family suite.

 

We are staying extra days after the cruise, so we won’t be missing any of the sites.
