Absolute truth. We choose the miles, others choose the discount. Others choose the benefits offered by the credit card including insurance. 

 My thinking is that it takes some research based on individual goals of the outcome. The really great thing here is that these discussions provide different options that may not have been known to members. I think it takes individual research, but with these options in mind that helps to define what to look for.
