Princess Cruise's Exclusive Island Sunset Party At Paradise Point

Hi there, I'm wondering if anybody has been on Princess Cruises Exclusive Island Sunset Party at Paradise Point? We are there on a Thursday so it's not their local night. I'm wondering if you can just buy a ticket when you get there for $21.00 and still take part in this sunset party. Princess wants $50pp for it no food or drinks covered. Just seems pricey. Thanks in advance :)

Paradise Point isn't open on Thursday night so Princess must be renting it for the private event. There's another restaurant, Prime, that's just below the usual Paradise Point restaurant that is open some evenings.
