Tours out of Placencia?

My husband and I are scheduled to be at Harvest Caye later this month. We are not really interested in staying on Harvest Caye and would like to have something other than a beach day. I know we can take the ferry to Placencia and walk around that area. Is there any other tour we can do that leaves out of Placencia? We were looking into cave tubing, but most of those tours seem to leave out of Belize City. Does anyone have any recommendations? I found two river tubing tours nearby, but not cave tubing. Any help or recommendations are appreciated!

We were in Placencia last week.  At the end of the dock where the ferry drops you off, there were a couple of vendors offering tours.  Don't remember exactly what however, we were just looking to explore the village.
