Akaroa Car Rental vendor

I'm not having much luck with this.   One vendor seems to be out of business.    A hotel had a few luxury costly cars.    Any other vendors that people have used recently?    Thank you for your time.

Any rental cars in Akaroa would probably have to come over from Christchurch .

Akaroa is a seaside village of a few hundred people - I'd be surprised if there was any option at all.  I think you will need to get to Christchurch to have any range of options.

I booked a car in Akaroa on a cruise visit.  It was a few years back but the details were as follows

They aren't cheap by any means but it worked for us.
