1submarine Posted April 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2020 Well... It was my first time on cruise line - I was anxious all the time. I have never han an anxiety for any reason, but there I barely slept. How can I overcome it and feel safe?
Lunenburg Posted April 16, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2020 Can you explain a little more? Were you nervous about being on water? Have you been away from home often or was this a new experience? You mention you did not feel safe, can you explain what you were afraid of? It is a shame you did not enjoy your cruise. Were you in an inside cabin with no window? Who were you with? Have you enjoyed other types of holidays? Not everyone find cruising relaxing, maybe a cruise is not for you.
1submarine Posted April 29, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted April 29, 2020 Yes, you might be right. The only reason I decided to go on cruise is to have a holiday with parents. I felt anxious even when we were waiting for the transfer at the pier - maybe next time we will choose another type of travelling.

My father would never fly, he avoided it his whole life -trains, boats, cars, buses all fine but not planes. Fortunately, cruise ships can be more easily avoided than planes these days.
