Booking the Carnival Horizon and looking for opinions or which to book. A Havana Cabana or Havana Aft balcony. Pricing is within a 100.00 so not much difference.

We have enjoyed the Havana Lanais.  Some folks don't like the idea of people walking in front of their lanai.  But we found it a great way to say hey to neighboring cabins.  General cruise passengers can't access the walkway. Easy stroll to pool area, and Ocean Plaza/ Java Cafe for breakfast.

Lots of people prefer the aft balconies.  But you are a deck up from the Havana Pool. Still with the amenities and maybe a slightly bigger balcony the regular balconies.

This one is a personal preference. You will not get many lookie-loos in your cabin anyway, as the Havana Retreat is off-limits to the general cruise area now anyway. Carnival made it a genuine ship within a ship area. IMHO should have been this way from the get-go to compete with Norwegian’s Haven and MSC yacht club.
