Luggage Valet Service San Juan

Used it this January on Serenade. It's a valet service that you purchase on board, must be done before thursday on your cruise. $10 per person. They print your luggage tags and boarding passes on board and deliver to your room on the last day. You leave your luggage in the hall on the last night as usual ( we locked ours just to be on the safe side), once off the ship you claim your luggage from the holding area, take it through customs, ( at this time we replaced the locks with cable ties ) and take it to the AA area outside customs and you don't see it again till your final destination. Saves time at the airport too. Your already checked in so all you have to do is go through security and to your gate. We got to the airport 1 1/2 hours before our flight time and were at the gate in plenty of time ( even with a "bomb" scare, someone had left unattended luggage).

Haven't done it in San Juan, but did do it at end of Alaskan cruise in Canada. It was the best money spent on the whole cruise. And, it sped up getting through customs there, too!

Am heading to San Juan Jan '07 and will take advantage of this again if it's offered!! Absolutely!!
