TheRealKeggy Posted August 6, 2020 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2020 Hi! I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right area, but I'll ask any way! I was looking into a cruise in either December or February in the Eastern Caribbean. I was curious about how hot it is during those times of year? It is shorts and T-shirt weather, is it warm enough to get in the water and get out without feeling cold? I like it to be hot, but not so hot it is unbearable like I think I would be during the summer months. Any insight is appreciated!
Rare ColeThornton Posted August 6, 2020 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2020 That's an easy Google search. Just type in "Average Monthly Temperatures (port name)". Many sites have both air and water temperatures.
bigrednole Posted August 6, 2020 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2020 Weather is different for everyone. I am in shorts and a shirt until it gets below 40. Others are in snow parkas and heated things if it is 80. Not to be a downer, but I would not keep my hopes to high for December and February cruising. If it is from the US, it most likely won't happen unfortunately.
sanger727 Posted August 6, 2020 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2020 We have cruised/traveled to the caribbean in December or January a handful of times. I would consider it to be "summer" weather. Shorts/tshirts weather. We swim without getting cold. However, we have noticed Floridians on these trips tend to think the weather is "cold". It may help that we are coming from the mid west and 0-20 degree days.
